So when we (my brother and I) got to the Trader Joe's in downtown Brooklyn,I assumed we'd be in and out in no time. I was sadly mistaken, because as soon as we got to the store we were surprised by an hour long line that we had to wait in. it was ultimately worth it because we did leave with some groceries. During this time of pandemic, companies and businesses are boosting up their prices on food because they know its an essential part of surviving, and they know regardless who it is, or regardless of the price, people will pay for it. taking advantage of those in need.

I believe this is a time where companies and businesses are taking advantage of low income people or just customers in general by boosting grocery prices up by a large margin and since food is essential it’s something they know we’ll pay for.
